Phosphorous Acid
[Physicochemical Properties]:
Colorless crystal with relative density of 1.651(at 21.2℃),
melting point at 73.6℃,
boiling point at 200℃(to dissolve),
freely soluble into water or alcohol,
of certain corrosiveness,
strong hygroscopicity and hygroscopy,
liable to be oxidized into orthophosphoric acid slowly while exposed in air,
and decomposable into ortho phosphoric acid and phosphuretted hydrogen
(severe toxicity) when heated to 180℃.
[Application]:
Raw material for production of phosphite,
reductant of chemical reaction,
brightener and oxidation inhibitor for production of Nylon,
stabilizer of plastic,
intermediate compound for organic phosphorus pesticides or chemical reagent.
[Quality Indices]: 1、Crude products ： 90%.
